Moodwasher series by Centolight was created to offer outdoor projectors suitable for all those architectural and live applications that require diffused lights (backdrops of scenes, architectural structures, etc.) and with a medium-amplitude (36°) projection angle. The Moodwasher 4810WP has a light source consisting of 48 10W RGBW 4in1 LEDs arranged in 4 horizontal rows of 12 each.
The luminescence in Full-color @ 2m condition can reach 29300 Lux. CRI is higher than 80 in order to guarantee an excellent color rendering in all uses. The 16-bit dimmer control is extremely accurate; the scanning frequency higher than 6kHz makes this fixture flicker-free, that is, suitable even during television shooting.
The cooling system is convection cool, and it is provided by the rear structure in die-cast aluminum designed to ensure an excellent heat exchange. Since there are no fans, the projector is silent and suitable for use in situations where the total absence of noise is required (museums, theatres, outdoor musical and theater performances, etc.).
The die-cast aluminum structure of the light, the front thermal cut glass, the rubber seals and the stainless-steel screws guarantee total waterproofing and a great lifespan over the years despite the exposure to any weather conditions.

Waterproof and Solid Construction
The light Moodwasher 4810WP, as well as other Centolight waterproof lights, must basically guarantee two things: no infiltration of water inside and a great durability of light for many years even if it is exposed outdoors 365 days a year. Centolight has long taken great care in the manufacture of its products, especially when they must guarantee a high IP rating as in this case (IP65).
The structure of the Moodwasher 4810WP is entirely made of die-cast aluminum; the brackets are made of steel for outdoor use; the front glass has a thermal cut. Watertightness is ensured by seals and plastic covers specifically designed for UV exposure; powercon power and XLR connections for DMX are waterproof and designed for maximum safety in all weather conditions.
Silent operation
The Moodwasher 4810WP is an IP65-rated light, that is why is very 'silent'. As the external structure is completely waterproof, it is not possible to use a cooling system for the LEDs and other internal components with a fan, but only by convection cooling. This makes it essential to design the external parts in such a way as to increase the thermal exchange surface between the inside and the outside as much as possible, making a material such as aluminum preferable for its lightness and ease of processing.
The fact that Centolight's IP65 lights are this silent means they can be often used in indoor locations. Just think of theatre sets where maximum silence is required, or for architectural applications in museums, etc.
